Be prepared to act confidently in any emergency- at home, at work or in your community. The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED for Adults Course is the most comprehensive training designed for individuals with little or no medical background who simply want the power to save a life.
This single, dynamic course combines the three most critical life-saving skills, empowering you to manage the first minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives.
Course Overview & Key Benefits
Taught using the AHA’s proven practice-while-watching method, this video-based, instructor-led course is highly engaging and focuses on hands-on skill mastery. We don’t just teach theory; we build confidence through realistic scenarios.
• Comprehensive Skills: Learn to manage both sudden cardiac events and common injuries/illnesses.
• Official Certification: Receive your two-year AHA Heartsaver Course Completion Card, required by many employers.
What You Will Learn
This First Aid CPR AED course covers essential, practical skills for all ages:
• First Aid Basics: Duties, roles and responsibilities of the First Aid rescuer.
• CPR & AED Use: Performing high-quality CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on adults, children and infants.
• Medical Emergencies: Recognizing and responding to heart attack, stroke, difficulty breathing, severe allergic reactions (EpiPen use) and diabetic emergencies.
• Injury Emergencies: Controlling bleeding, treating burns, broken bones/sprains and handling head/spinal injuries.
• Choking Relief: Techniques for adults, children and infants.
