This outcome-based radiography program integrates classroom education and hands-on clinical experience to turn out competent and successful radiographers. Our students benefit from both hospital and clinic teaching experiences, state of the art equipment, and having a highly skilled staff of Registered Radiologic Technologists to supervise and guide their skills. The small class size maximizes patient contact and allows for close supervision during this amazing educational process. The classroom is located at 420 3rd St. SE in Minot.
JRCERT Approved Clinical Sites
Our students’ clinical experience include rotations in Trinity Health’s hospital radiology department and associated areas, as well as the orthopedic clinic located in Health Center – West, an attached medical building to the hospital. In addition, there are other JRCERT approved clinical sites in the following Trinity Health facilities: Health Center-Town & Country (Advanced Imaging Center), Health Center-South Ridge, and Health Center-Medical Arts, all located within a short drive from the main hospital in Minot.
Students should expect to spend up to 40 hours per week in didactic classroom and clinical rotations, generally between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. However, during the 22-month program, students are assigned to some evening and weekend rotations, but this will not exceed 25% of their total clinical hours. Students will receive a 12-month schedule detailing their class time and clinical rotations the first day of class.
