The registered radiologic technologist is qualified to provide patient services using various types of imaging equipment. The radiologic technologist works under the direction of a radiologist, a medical physician with extensive training in performing radiologic procedures and interpreting medical images. This is a profession which requires a dependable personality, a mature and caring nature, and an ability to exercise independent judgment.
