Addiction Treatment Internships
Trinity Health Foundation provides a stipend for addiction treatment interns. The stipend for these interns is made possible through a generous gift from a donor.
Trinity Health Foundation continues to address the projected shortage of nurses across the United States through its Nursing Scholarship Program. The goal of the scholarship program is to build a vibrant and talented pool of nurses who will provide the best care possible and improve the health and wellness of our region.
Last fiscal year, more than 40 people applied to be considered for scholarships. Those who were selected to receive a $3,000 scholarship include:
- Jessica Buchholz, Dakota College at Bottineau
- Bailey Conner, Minot State University
- Jessica Davis, Minot State University
- Jennifer Fettig, Minot State University
- Luis Gonzalez, Minot State University
- Lindsay Greene, Minot State University
- Nora Mihalick, Minot State University
- Kayla Shearer, Minot State University

A banquet was held in May 2018 to recognize these students and their achievements. The opportunity given to these students would not have been possible without the many wonderful donations given to the Nursing Scholarship Fund. We cannot thank the donors enough for not only making a difference in the lives of these students, but for also impacting the lives of the patients and families that these students will serve daily after their graduation.
Upon learning that they were selected for a scholarship, some of the recipients shared the following comments:
“It is hard to find the words to express my appreciation for the donations made to the Trinity Health Foundation. Because of your generosity, I am able to pursue a dream that I wasn’t sure would even be possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness.”
