Trinity Health Foundation Week will take place from October 13-17, as we raise awareness about the impact of the Foundation and make more impact together. Throughout the week, Trinity Health Foundation and Marketing staff will be present at the Trinity Health Hospital Atrium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to educate and promote the different ways that your generosity can make an impact both within Trinity Health and in the community.
The week will be filled with impactful events and exciting giveaways. Employees who sign up to give during Foundation Week, those who increase their current giving through Employee Directed Giving by 20% or more, sign up for the Round-Up Program, make a recurring gift of $5 or more, or make a one-time $25 donation will be eligible to receive a long-sleeve t-shirt, short-sleeve t-shirt, or a beanie. Please fill out the attached pledge form to enroll or increase your giving or please text TRINITY to 26989 to sign up for Round-Up Program, make a recurring gift or a one time gift.
Proceeds from Foundation Week will go toward the Prescription Assistance Fund. This fund ensures that all Trinity Health patients have access to essential medications. The purpose of the Prescription Assistance Fund is to cover the cost of prescription medications for patients who are unable to afford them.
Schedule of Events
Monday – Round Up Day. Trinity Health Foundation offers an easy way to make a monthly contribution through the Round-Up Program. Once enrolled, purchases made on your registered card will “round up” to the next dollar, accumulate and be donated on the last day of the month. To celebrate Round Up Day and the beginning of an exciting week, cupcakes will be provided in the hospital atrium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This also marks the beginning of the penny drive, where departments will compete to raise the most money throughout the week. The winner of the penny drive will have their own pizza party. Department leaders, keep an eye out for an email with instructions on how to RSVP and what information we need ahead of the penny drive.
Tuesday – Trinity Homes In-Kind Gifts. There will be drop boxes at select locations where we will collect items for residents of Trinity Homes. Suggested items to donate include word search puzzles, lotion, coloring books, extended size socks for men, brushes and watercolor papers for painting, scarves and more. Don’t want to shop but want to help? Make a one-time donation of $25 to donate a pre-built gift basket.
Wednesday – Text to give. Text “Trinity” to 26989. From there, you will receive a text message with a link. Follow the link to make your donation.
Thursday – A fun, virtual scavenger hunt will take place throughout the week, involving previous Foundation initiatives. Entries for the scavenger hunt must be submitted by Thursday, October 16, at 11:59 p.m. Be on the lookout for more details about the scavenger hunt and how to enter.
Friday – Foundation Fri-Yay! To wrap up an impactful week, be sure to wear Trinity Health Foundation wear on Friday.
