Careers as a CNA
Do you have a caring spirit and an interest in helping people? If so, consider becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA.
CNA's provide direct nursing care to patients, and perform services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient and family members.
Why become a Certified Nursing Assistant:
It takes a special kind of person to be a Certified Nursing Assistant or “CNA”. It’s an important role to the health care team because they assist both nurses and patients. CNA’s make a big difference in the care someone receives simply by their kindness. Our CNA’s work in our long term care facility, hospital and clinics and assist patients and residents with daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, and eating. They have a role in keeping them safe and comfortable.
How to become a Certified Nursing Assistant:
You can become trained through an institution or government training, but we offer free CNA training classes periodically. If hired for the training class, you will be moved into a CNA position upon receiving your certification.
How to Apply for Training:
The “CNA Training” is a position posted periodically with our job postings. If a class is not available, keep checking back. Your application will be forwarded to the hiring manager for review.
