Ruth A. Stanley, RN, MSN, NP-C, a former staff nurse at Trinity Community Clinic – Mohall completed all of the study and training necessary to advance as a board certified nurse practitioner at the clinic. She provides primary care services to people of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries, prescribing medications, writing orders for medical studies, managing chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and educating patients on self-care skills and lifestyle changes to prevent disease. A 1986 graduate of the Trinity School of Nursing, Ruth earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and completed her Master’s in Nursing Practice from Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Family Medicine is a primary healthcare specialty concerned with preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of ailments in patients of all ages, incorporating training in Surgery, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics and Geriatric Medicine. It is based on knowledge of the patient in the context of family history and the surrounding community.
