Mercedes “Sadie” Lemere, DNP, is a compassionate, dedicated nurse practitioner who brings more than seven years of nursing experience to Trinity Health’s orthopedics and sports medicine team. A native of Velva, Sadie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from North Dakota State University, Fargo. A member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and running outside of medicine.

Orthopedics is a field of medicine that involves both surgical and nonsurgical approaches to treating a variety of musculoskeletal issues, such as sports injuries, joint pain and trauma.
Sports Medicine
Sports medicine is a specialty devoted to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of injuries related to sports, exercise and physical activity by recreational, amateur and professional athletes of all ages. Our multidisciplinary team includes primary care physicians, therapists and orthopedic surgeons trained in arthroscopic procedures of the hip and knee, including ACL reconstruction. Together they work to return patients to the activities they most enjoy.
