A certified nurse practitioner, Hedi Rime, FNP-C, provides primary care to people of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing appropriate medications, interpretation of diagnostic tests to identify health problems and preventive care to prevent disease. A Washburn area native, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, including her nurse practitioner training, from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She was a registered nurse at Ohio State University in Columbus, where she worked in the ortho/surgical and trauma units. She also worked as a pediatric nurse at Medcenter One in Bismarck. As a nurse practitioner and primary care provider she has practiced in New Salem and at McLean Family Medical Center in Washburn. Hedi is a member of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Professional Nursing Society. She and her husband, Kevin, farm and ranch near Garrison.
