Dr. Scrimshaw is a board certified emergency physician and a member of our Emergency/Trauma team. He provides immediate care to adult and pediatric patients with emergent illnesses and injuries. A magna cum laude graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University Honors College, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Scrimshaw completed residency training in emergency medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine, Kalamazoo. During residency, he attained a specialty track in Simulation and Medical Education providing instruction for medical students and residents. He was also appointed Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Scrimshaw is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Christian Medical & Dental Associations.
