(MINOT, ND) – Trinity Health has named Kim Rosencrans, RN, BSN, Operating Room Manager for the Surgery Department, succeeding longtime manager Jane Nelson, RN, CNOR.

Rosencrans will oversee the daily operation of eight busy surgical suites and supervise a staff of about 40 circulating nurses, scrub techs and nursing assistants.

‘Kim is an experienced nurse with a diverse surgical background,’ said Denise Dahl, Director of Surgical Services. ‘I’m excited to welcome her and look forward to working with her and the rest of our surgical team in providing high-quality surgical care.’

A member of Trinity Health’s nursing staff for the past 19 years, she served as a circulator in the Operating Room on the General Surgery, Heart and Neurosurgery teams. She also held a leadership position during her years as Coordinator of Same Day Surgery.

A graduate of the University of Mary, Rosencrans worked in the Labor & Delivery Unit at UniMed Medical Center prior to joining Trinity Health. She also worked briefly as a public health nurse.

She transitions to her new post at the end of December.
