(MINOT, ND) – People at this year’s North Dakota State Fair will have a chance to learn about the latest innovations in heart care and neurosurgery.
Trinity Health is using its exhibit space in Commercial III to introduce fairgoers to Dr. Thomas Frimpong, the newest addition to Trinity’s neurosurgical team. Dr. Frimpong is fellowship trained in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery and has expertise in adolescent and adult scoliosis surgery.
The exhibit will also update fairgoers on new developments in heart care, such as beating-heart bypass surgery, a minimally invasive approach that lets the surgeon perform the bypass grafts while the patient’s heart continues to beat.
At the Senior Festival on July 27, Trinity will offer cholesterol and blood glucose screenings for $15, along with information on stroke, eye care, senior care, and home health equipment.
The 2016 North Dakota State Fair begins its nine-day run Friday in Minot.
