The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons has awarded Trinity Health’s cancer program three-year Accreditation with Commendation, the highest level of accreditation.

Accreditation with Commendation is awarded when a cancer program complies with all standards and additionally demonstrates a high level of compliance with one or more of the six standards that comprise the full scope of cancer care.

“Accreditation is important to patients because it assures them they are receiving a level of care that meets national standards,” said Radiation Oncology Director Kevin Collins.
