(MINOT, ND)-Trinity Health has set dates for its bereavement series, “Hope & Healing After a Death,” for 2015. The six-week series, led by Trinity’s hospice professionals, will be offered three times during the year for anyone who is in the process of adjusting to the loss of a loved one.
The winter sessions will begin January 6th and run each Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. through February 10th. Spring and Fall classes will begin April 7 and September 22 respectively. All classes are held in the Trinity Community Conference Room at Town & Country Center.
Trinity Hospice Supervisor Terri Nelson says The Hope & Healing series has had a long track record of helping people cope with a loss. “Grief is a natural response to losing a loved one, but we should never have to feel that we are alone in our grief. The Hope series not only provides support and understanding from others who have experienced loss, it also offers best practices and guidance on how to work through our grief.”
The bereavement sessions focus on such topics such as the phenomenon of grief, the mourning process and self-care strategies to promote healing. Class size is limited. To register or for more information, call Trinity Hospice at 857-5083.
