Russell Gust, coordinator of Trinity Health’s Exercise Physiology Department, has been certified as a cancer exercise trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine in collaboration with the American Cancer Society.

Founded in 2007, Trinity’s Cancer Exercise Program helps cancer patients combat fatigue, gain strength and improve their overall physical condition, which aids in the fight against cancer.
As a cancer exercise trainer, Gust develops and administers fitness assessments and exercise programs for cancer patients, based on their diagnosis, treatment regimen and current recovery status.
