Trinity Health will host a grocery store tour, “Shopping on a Budget,” Tuesday, September 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. at MarketPlace Foods, 1930 South Broadway.

Stretching a budget can be challenging during inflationary times. The free tour, led by a clinical dietitian, will offer tips on how to shop strategically and remain within a budget while providing healthy, satisfying meals for one’s family.

Space for the tour is limited. Registration is required by calling 857-5268 by September 12. Participants are asked to meet at the east entrance of MarketPlace Foods, near the deli.

The tour is part of Trinity Health’s year-long series of grocery tours and cooking classes to promote healthy eating. Future events include a cooking class, “Cooking on a Budget” October 11; a grocery store tour on diabetes November 8; and another cooking class, “Recipes for 1 or 2,” scheduled December 13.
