Nursing students from Dakota College at Bottineau are putting turkeys on the tables of area families this holiday season. Students presented $250 to Trinity Health Foundation in support of the Foundation’s Horn of Plenty Turkey Drive.
The funds are part of the nursing students’ proceeds raised through a Cash Calendar Raffle in which people buy chances to win prizes every day for an entire month. The project has been so successful, it’s enabled them to support a variety of community causes and charities.
