(MINOT, ND) – Trinity Health is pleased to announce that Karim Tripodina has been named Director of Marketing and Community Relations. She succeeds Randy Schwan, MBA, who continues to serve as Vice President of Mission Integration.
Tripodina joined Trinity Health last year as Patient Experience Coordinator and subsequently earned praise for guiding a number of patient satisfaction initiatives, including a program to train all Trinity staff in the RELATE℠ patient-centered communication model.
‘Karim brings a solid record of achievement to her new role,’ said John M. Kutch, Trinity’s Chief Executive Officer. ‘As Patient Experience Coordinator, she’s been a champion of patient-centered care and has been instrumental in providing tools that have helped us all become more effective communicators. She’ll be a great addition to our leadership team.’
As marketing director Tripodina will oversee all communication and educational programs aimed at improving the health of the community and educating the public about Trinity Health’s providers and service lines.
‘This is an exciting time for Trinity Health as we look forward to a future new hospital and medical facility,’ Tripodina said. ‘It’s also an interesting time for healthcare in general, with patients enjoying more choice and information about where to get their care. I most look forward to sharing the stories of our wonderful patients and how they’ve been touched by the warmth, humanity and expertise of the people who work here.’
Tripodina received her Bachelor of Arts in English, Summa Cum Laude, from Suffolk University in Boston. She previously provided marketing and development for health centers in Maine and Wyoming, as well as branding and advertising for a nationwide financial services organization. She and her husband live in Berthold, where she enjoys photographing the beauty of North Dakota.
