John Folland, MD

A specialist in Family Medicine, Dr. Folland works with patients of all ages to provide diagnosis and treatment for a broad range of health conditions. He’s well-equipped to manage the full spectrum of acute and chronic health conditions in addition to providing preventive care and health screenings, in-office procedures such as shoulder, knee, and foot injections, as well as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and small lesion and skin tag removal.  Dr. Folland worked four years in nursing before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Saba University School of Medicine – Saba, Dutch Caribbean.  He completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of North Dakota’s Center for Family Medicine in Minot.  A member of American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and North Dakota Medical Association, his experience includes volunteer work related to 4-H youth activities and serving as an autistic child mentor.  He enjoys fishing and other outdoor activities.

Ashlyn Deachin, AGACNP-BC

A board-certified nurse practitioner, Ashlyn Deachin, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a member of our Hospitalist Team. She works with physicians and other caregivers to manage the care of hospitalized patients based on changes in their medical condition.  Originally from Melbourne, FL, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, graduating with honors.  She completed her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the University of South Alabama.  Ashlyn’s clinical experience includes work as a charge nurse in a cardiac step-down unit and as an RN in cath lab and progressive care settings in Louisiana and Florida.  Most recently she was a member of Trinity Health’s team of caregivers in the Progressive Care Unit.  She is a member of the American Nurses Association and North Dakota Nurses Association.

Kristi Syverson, CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Kristi Johnson, CRNA, provides anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases.  Originally from Sidney, MT, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck and began an extensive nursing career, practicing at hospitals in Bismarck and Sioux Falls for 11 years.  In 2012, she earned her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from Mount Marty College’s nurse anesthesia  program in Sioux Falls. A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Kristi is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.  Fishing and camping are among her favorite activities.

Rym Lamrad, MD

Dr. Lamrad specializes in Palliative and Hospital Medicine, with a focus on the healthcare needs of hospital patients and the medical needs of people with serious or life-limiting illnesses.  As a palliative specialist, she works with patients, families, and the patient’s care team to optimize quality of life for those who suffer from chronic, debilitating, or life-threatening conditions. She earned her medical doctorate from Saba University School of Medicine, the Netherlands-Antilles, and completed both her Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo.

George Wilson, MD

Dr. Wilson specializes in Hospital Medicine, a specialty that coordinates all aspects of inpatient care. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, where he graduated with honors. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, NJ. In 2004 Dr. Wilson provided volunteer medical services to victims of Hurricane Ivan in the West Indies.

Denise Zahn, CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Denise Zahn, CRNA, provides anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases. Denise earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and received her anesthesia training at the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences in Rochester, MN.  She practiced at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis for seven years and spent a year at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital in Illinois before joining Trinity Health in 1995.  A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Denise is certified by the National Board of Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

A member of our hospitalist team, Dr. Turneau received his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences campus in Fargo.

Nicole Underdahl, CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Nicole A. Underdahl, MS, CRNA, provides anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases.  Originally from Hazen, Nicky earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MedCenter One College of Nursing, Bismarck, in 1996, and received her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, in 2009.  Prior to joining Trinity’s Anesthesia department she worked in Trinity’s ICU and was a flight nurse with Northstar Criticair.  A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Nicky is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.  She and her husband have two grown children.

Lynette Vondal, FNP-C

A Minot native, Lynette received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University. She was an RN at Trinity Hospital for 17 years, practicing in the ETC, Cardiology and Cath Lab departments. She earned her Master of Science/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck. A member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Lynette enjoys outdoor activities, quilting and spending time with her two sons.

Stacy Wallin, DNP, NNP-BC

Stacy Wallin, DNP, NNP-BC, is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner and a key member of our Newborn Intensive Care team. Stacy works in collaboration with physicians, nurses and other professionals to provide comprehensive care to premature and sick newborns. A Minot native and Minot High School graduate, she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, and practiced 12 years at Trinity Hospital, serving as a staff RN in the NICU and as a neonatal flight nurse with NorthStar Criticair. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice, specializing as a neonatal provider, at Creighton University, Omaha, completing her internship at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Stacy enjoys spending time with her two daughters and attending her nephews’ sporting events.
