Chandni Anand, MD, is a board-certified, experienced internist with an integrated, holistic approach to health. Her focus is personalized, compassionate care delivered with integrity. She graduated from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. After completing internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, she joined Queens Long Island Medical Group in 1991. In 2013 she joined DaVita Medical Group in Florida. She enjoys movies, comedy shows, outdoor activities, and reading. She has two adult children.

Annie Steen, FNP-C
Annie Steen, FNP-C, is an experienced nurse practitioner and a member of our medical oncology team. Working in collaboration with other providers, she offers care and support to patients undergoing medical oncology and hematology treatments, with services ranging from patient education to follow-up care and symptom management. A Minot native, Annie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Dakota State University. She practiced rehabilitation and ortho-neuro nursing at Sanford Health in Fargo, later returning to Minot to work in the area of rheumatology at Trinity Health. She completed her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practice at the University of North Dakota and provided primary care services to patients at CHI St. Alexius Health in Minot for six years. A member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Annie is married with a son and a daughter.
Carol Schaffner, MD
Carol M. Schaffner, MD, is dedicated to providing individualized care that meets a woman’s changing needs throughout her lifetime. Originally from South Dakota, she earned her medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion. Her internship and Ob/Gyn residency were completed at Tulane University Hospital, New Orleans, LA. She’s committed to comprehensive healthcare for women, with a special interest in infertility and pregnancy.
Roggie Reason, MD
Dr. Reason is a member of our primary care team who specializes in Internal Medicine, a medical field that focuses on the health problems of adults. He looks forward to serving patients with a patient-centered, science-based approach that focuses on promoting wellness in addition to diagnosing and treating illness. Born and reared in Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Reason earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. As a student there he received several honors, including the Future Physician/Golden Stethoscope Award for outstanding academic performance coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills and humanitarianism. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in the U.S. at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, where he received the Best Resident Award. A member of the American College of Physicians and American Medical Association, Dr. Reason enjoys soccer and reading fiction.
Margaret Nordell, MD
A North Dakota native, Dr. Nordell practiced obstetrics and gynecology in the San Francisco area before returning to North Dakota in 1993 to join Trinity Medical Group. She’s an advocate for women’s health with a particular interest in problems related to adolescence, pregnancy, osteoporosis, and menopause. Dr. Nordell is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Michelle Fundingsland, RDN, LRD
Michelle Fundingsland has been a dietitian at Trinity Health since 2009. She grew up in Minot and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in dietetics. She works as an outpatient dietitian. Her career focuses mainly on outpatient nutrition education at the Center for Diabetes and Nutrition Education and nutrition services at the Kidney Dialysis Center. She is a health coach and educates participants in the Weigh to Change program which is a diabetes prevention program. Michelle and her husband have three children. They are busy with winter and summer sports.
Jessie Fauntleroy, MD
A member of our Obstetrics and Gynecology team, Jessie Fauntleroy, MD, is dedicated to providing individualized care that meets a woman’s changing needs throughout her lifetime, including high-risk obstetrics and laparoscopy. A graduate of Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth, Dominica, she completed her Ob/Gyn residency at SUNY University at Buffalo, where she served as chief resident and assumed leadership roles in promoting wellness among mothers and newborns. Dr. Fauntleroy also holds a Master’s Degree in Health Management Systems. A junior fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Fauntleroy is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society.
Kayla Cole, RDN, LRD
Kayla Cole has been a dietitian at Trinity Health since 2010. She grew up in Minot and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in dietetics in 2010. She works as an outpatient dietitian. Her career focuses mainly on outpatient nutrition education at the Center for Diabetes and Nutrition Education and nutrition services at the CancerCare Center and Home Health/Hospice. Community nutrition is also very important to her so she offers grocery store tours and cooking classes throughout the year, creates recipe videos with the marketing/IT teams, and takes part in other requested community nutrition events. She is also a health coach and educates participants in the Weigh to Change program which is a diabetes prevention program. Kayla and her husband’s favorite activities are cooking, eating, being active, working on their house, and watching movies.
Gloria Berg, MSN, CNM
A certified nurse midwife, Gloria has a master’s degree in nursing from Case Western University in Cleveland, OH, and nurse midwifery credentials from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing at Hayden, KY. She is certified through the American College of Nurse Midwives. Gloria has worked labor and delivery and has been providing care to women in Minot since 1982. Her care has come full circle as she is now caring for women she helped in delivery years ago.
David Billings, MD
David A. Billings, MD, FACOG, is a board certified Ob/Gyn and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. He provides comprehensive care to women of all ages with emphasis on pregnancy, prenatal care, special care for women with complex pregnancies and infertility. A graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Billings completed his residency training at Michigan State University/Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. He served as the Ob/Gyn Chief Attending Physician at Minot Air Force Base and a faculty member of the UND Center for Family Medicine – Minot. He’s maintained a very active practice, providing supportive care for women. Other memberships include the North Dakota Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
