Aaron Herington, MD

Aaron Herington, M.D., is a physician specializing in Emergency Medicine, a branch of medicine that pertains to the diagnosis of a variety of illnesses that can be treated through various interventions. He joined Trinity Health in June 2011.

Dr. Herington became a Doctor of Medicine through the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2008.  From July 2008 to June 2011, he served an Emergency Medicine Residency at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, Greenville, N.C.  He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Emergency Medical Residents Association.

Rebecca Heilman, CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Rebecca A. Heilman, CRNA, MSN, has more than 20 years of experience providing anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases.  The Willow City native earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and her Master of Science with a clinical specialty in anesthesia from the University of Mary, Bismarck.  Her CRNA practice has been primarily with St. Joseph’s and Trinity hospitals in Minot.  She also has done locum and consultant work in North Dakota and Montana.  An active member of the North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Rebecca has served as past president, board member and government relations chair with that organization.  She’s also a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.  She and her husband, Steve, have two sons.

Jennifer Henjum, CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Jennifer Henjum, CRNA, provides anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases. Born and raised in Minot, Jennifer joined Trinity Health in 1997 as a nursing assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University in 2002 and worked the next eight years as a critical care nurse in Trinity Hospital’s ICU. In 2010 she received her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and has since been part of our Anesthesia team. A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Jennifer is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists. She and her husband, Isaac, have two children and enjoy traveling.

Robert Heninger, MD

Robert D. Heninger, MD completed his undergraduate degree in Zoology at North Dakota State University in 1998, and earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2002. He completed a residency in family medicine at the Center for Family Medicine in Minot in 2005. He then practiced for three years in Stanley, ND. In 2008, he moved to Iowa City to begin a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He completed his diagnostic radiology training in 2012 and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Edward Hanjani, MD

Edward Hanjani, MD, is a radiologist board certified in diagnostic radiology.  He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Philadelphia’s Hahnemann Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center.  Dr. Hanjani is a member of the American College of Radiology and the American Roentgen Ray Society, a professional radiologists group.

A graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri, he completed his Emergency Medicine residency at St. John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, MI, where he served as Chief Resident in 2001-2002. He practiced five years with Emergency Physicians P.C. of Dunmore, PA, prior to joining Trinity. Dr. Franks is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians.

Shannon Foisy, CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Shannon Foisy, MSN, CRNA, provides anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, ID, and her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of New England, Portland, ME. She worked as a staff RN at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Boise for three years prior to attending her anesthesia training and joining Trinity’s Anesthesia Department. A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Shannon is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Thomas Carver, DO

A native of Great Falls, MT, Dr. Carver earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, MO. He completed his residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center, Aurora, CO, and his Fellowship at University of Colorado Health Science Center. He’s board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.

Brown, CRNA, provides anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases.  The Berthold native received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Minot State University and completed her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.  She’s been a Trinity associate since 1989, working 12 years in the ICU, including six years as a flight nurse with Northstar Criticiair.  She’s been a member of Trinity’s Anesthesia Department since 2004.  A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Terri is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Kari L Berentson, CRNA

A certified registered nurse anesthetist, Kari L. Berentson, CRNA, provides anesthesia care to patients across a wide spectrum of surgical cases. A graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Fargo, Kari earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University. She joined Trinity Health in 1986, working as an RN on the Ortho/Neuro unit of Trinity Hospital and in various other departments. In 2003 she received her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and subsequently joined Trinity’s Anesthesia Department. Prior to joining Trinity’s Anesthesia department she worked in Trinity’s ICU and was a flight nurse with Northstar Criticiair. A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Nicky is certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists. She and her husband have two grown children.
