Jerane Forsberg, PA-C

Jerane Forsberg, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant and a member of our team of providers at the Trinity Health Pain Center. A graduate of Minot State University’s nursing program, she worked as a critical care nurse at Trinity Hospital before earning a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota. Jerane’s PA experience of over 20 years includes primary care, cardiology, pain management and pre-admission testing. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the North Dakota Physician Assistant Association and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Marcel Young, MD

Dr. Marcel Young is board certified in Family Medicine. A graduate of the University of North Dakota’s School of Medicine in Grand Forks, he completed his residency in Family Medicine in Minot. Dr. Young is the recipient of the American Medical Association’s Alpha Omega Alpha Award for academic excellence and leadership in the field of family medicine. He offers services in Gynecology, general family care, minor surgery, pediatrics and Internal Medicine.

Ginger Strand, PA-C

Ginger Strand, PA-C, is a board certified physician assistant and a member of our family care team at Trinity Health South Ridge. She provides primary care services to people of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, infections and injuries; treatment of chronic health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, prescribing appropriate medications, and educating patients in self-care skills to prevent disease. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she returned to UND to complete her Physician Assistant training. Prior to joining Trinity she was a PA at Johnson Clinic in Rugby and served patients in clinic and ER settings in Devils Lake.

Michael Templer, MD

Trinity Health welcomes Michael J. Templer, MD, a pain specialist double board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. Dr. Templer completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship at Wayne State University in Michigan. He comes to Minot from Illinois, where he provided comprehensive pain management in association with Orthopedic Center of Southern Illinois. As medical director of the Trinity Pain Center at Trinity Health South Ridge, he provides the full range of non-surgical remedies, including injection therapies, nerve blocks and electrical stimulation.

Nora Rasmussen, FNP-C

Nora Rasmussen is a graduate of Minot State University and holds a degree in nursing. Her professional career began at Trinity Hospital where she worked as a surgical staff and charge nurse. She received her advanced degree in nursing from the University of Mary, Bismarck and is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She provides basic, front-line healthcare and is qualified to perform physical exams, diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries, manage high blood pressure, diabetes, and other chronic problems, order and interpret x-rays and other lab tests, and counsel patients on disease prevention and healthcare options.

Steven Mattson, MD

Steven R. Mattson, M.D. is a board certified internist and pediatrician.  A graduate of the University of North Dakota, he received his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and the University of North Dakota Affiliated Hospitals. He has practiced in Minot since 1988. Mattson is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.

Sarah Mullin, MD

Dr. Mullin is board certified in Family Medicine. She provides general care for people of all ages for a broad range of health conditions. Her practice is located at Trinity Health South Ridge. Dr. Mullin earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency through the UND School of Medicine residency program in Minot. She practiced medicine for 12 years with the 5th Medical Group at Minot Air Force Base. Dr. Mullin is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Jennifer Hunter, MD, FAAD

Jennifer L. Hunter, M.D., is a board certified dermatologist – a physician who specializes in treating diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Dr. Hunter specializes in General Dermatology, Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatologic Surgery.  A graduate of Duke University School of Medicine, she completed her Internship at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston and completed her dermatology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as chief resident. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
