Sierra Unruh, OD

Dr. Sierra Unruh is a board-certified optometrist dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality vision care to people of all ages. Working with Trinity’s team of eye care specialists, Dr. Unruh provides diagnosis, treatment, and referral for the full range of eye diseases, including cataract, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. Her expertise includes diagnosing and managing complex eye conditions. She also provides routine eye care exams and is skilled at prescribing glasses and contacts. Dr. Unruh was born and raised in Bismarck. She completed her undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Dakota. She received her optometric education and training at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2015, followed by a post-doctorate residency at the Memphis VA Medical Center. Following residency, she established an optometric care clinic for veterans in Aberdeen, SD, working in unison with ophthalmologists and primary care providers. She also achieved fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry in 2018. Before joining Trinity Regional Eyecare in summer of 2021, Dr. Unruh provided optometry services with Johnson Eyecare & Eyewear in Minot for several years.

Darren Hill, MD

Darren Hill, MD, is an ophthalmologist and a member of our team of specialists at Trinity Regional Eyecare Minot Center. Dr. Hill provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care including cataract removal, laser and injection treatment for retinal pathology, laser and surgical glaucoma management, refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK, as well as surgical correction of strabismus and eyelid malposition. He graduated from Brigham Young University with academic honors, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Penn State University College of Medicine, and completed his surgical internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Hill has been recognized for academic achievement, his research endeavors including peer-reviewed papers, abstracts, and textbook publications, as well as for his strong commitment to volunteer service.  A member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, he has participated in international and domestic missions providing vision care to disadvantaged patients. He spends his free time with his wife and five children.

 

Alexandra Radu, DMD, MD

Alexandra Radu, DMD, MD, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, well qualified to provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial care for the full range of oral and facial conditions. Her expertise includes dental implants, orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery for problems affecting the teeth, jaw, and supporting structures; and jaw movement disorders (TMJ). She also has experience treating oral and facial trauma, having trained at a level 1 trauma center.  Dr. Radu holds doctorate degrees in both dentistry and medicine.  She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania, where she received honors for her clinical and research work.  She completed her medical doctorate at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and did her residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, an adult and pediatric level 1 trauma center. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors.

Darrell Williams, MD

Dr. Darrell Williams established excellence in eye care for the people of this region when, in 1984 he started the Williams Medical Eye Center. Today, this practice has grown to include comprehensive medical and surgical eyecare services through Trinity Regional Eyecare – Minot Center. Dr. Williams has gained widespread recognition for his expertise in cataract care and vision correction with refractive procedures. Dr. Williams received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and went on to complete a four year residency program in ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the Society to Prevent Blindness.

Chad Wolsky, MD

Minot native Chad Wolsky, MD, is board certified in the specialty of Ophthalmology. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care including cataract removal and intraocular lens implantation, laser surgical treatment for diabetic eye and glaucoma, surgical correction of pediatric and adult strabismus, laser and incisional eyelid surgery, and injections for botox and Restylane. A graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, he received his Ophthalmology training at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington. Dr. Wolsky is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Medical Association.

Brad Schimke, OD

Dr. Schimke has provided vision care to patients in Minot and throughout the region for many years. He joined Trinity Health in July 2001. A native of Minot, he received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1993. His wife, Michele, is an elementary teacher with Minot Public Schools. They have 3 sons.

Jill Martinson-Redekopp, OD

Jill Martinson-Redekopp is a native of Garrison, North Dakota.  She attended North Dakota State University and received her optometric degree from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA.  Dr. Martinson-Redekopp received the Distinguished Service Award from the North Dakota Optometric Association.  She is the Past President of the North Dakota State Board of Optometry where she served for 25 years.  She is the past Chair of the Council on Optometric Practitioner Education for the Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry.  She is the past President of the Board of Directors for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She is currently serving as liaison  from the Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry to the  Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education.

Evelyne Kindy, MD

Dr. Evelyne Kindy is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a member of our Ophthalmology team at Trinity Regional Eyecare – Minot Center.  She provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, including general Ophthalmology, small-incision cataract/intraocular lens surgery, laser surgery for glaucoma and retinal disease, and treatment for corneal disease.  She also provides consultation for pediatric eye conditions.  A Montreal native, she earned her medical degree from the University of Montreal in Quebec and completed her Ophthalmology residency there, serving as chief resident during her last year of training.  She took an additional course in Ophthalmology in Waterville, Maine.  Dr. Kindy is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.  She’s also a clinical faculty member of the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
