Trinity Hospital Alert – Early in the evening on March 22, a fire of unknown origin broke out at the construction site of the new Trinity Health medical campus in southwest Minot. We have confirmed there were no injuries. Please continue to avoid the area so emergency crews can do their work. We expect fire investigators to be at the site through next week at least, and will share updates as we receive them. Many thanks to local fire and law enforcement officials for their response and for keeping the community safe.

Stephanie Willet, MD

A member of our Anesthesiology team, Dr. Willet provides safe and effective anesthesia care to ensure the comfort of patients undergoing the full range of surgical procedures. A Maryland native, she received her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, where she earned recognition for scholarship and for her leadership in the area of women and medicine. She served three years as president of the American Medical Women’s Association and twice was nominated for the Golden Bull Award for exceptional leadership and service to the University and community. After graduation she completed two years of categorical residency in General Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and a three-year Anesthesiology residency at Weill Cornell Medical College, both associated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Willet was an accomplished businesswoman before entering the medical field, with achievements in entrepreneurship, IT, business management, and financial consulting. Her leisure pursuits have also been wide-ranging, with interests in athletics, fine arts, conservation, aviation, and dog rescue. A former nationally ranked triathlete and duathlete, she was a national member of Team USA Triathlon & Duathlon from 2006 to 2008. Dr. Willet is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, American Medical Women’s Association, and Physicians for Social Responsibility.
