DOT Certified Provider

Ginger Strand, PA-C

Ginger Strand, PA-C, is a board certified physician assistant and a member of our family care team at Trinity Health South Ridge. She provides primary care services to people of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, infections and injuries; treatment of chronic health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, prescribing appropriate medications, and educating patients in self-care skills to prevent disease. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she returned to UND to complete her Physician Assistant training. Prior to joining Trinity she was a PA at Johnson Clinic in Rugby and served patients in clinic and ER settings in Devils Lake.

Howard Reeve, MD

Howard Reeve, M.D. is board certified in Family Medicine, he obtained his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks. He completed his residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Minot, North Dakota.  Dr. Reeve has extensive experience and stays current in his field with annual continuing medical education in Occupational Medicine.  He is a certified examiner for DOT physicals.

Hedi Rime, FNP-C

A certified nurse practitioner, Hedi Rime, FNP-C, is a member of our primary care team at Trinity Health Garrison Clinic. She provides primary care to people of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing appropriate medications, interpretation of diagnostic tests to identify health problems and preventive care to prevent disease. A Washburn area native, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, including her nurse practitioner training, from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She was a registered nurse at Ohio State University in Columbus, where she worked in the ortho/surgical and trauma units. She also worked as a pediatric nurse at Medcenter One in Bismarck. As a nurse practitioner and primary care provider she has practiced in New Salem and at McLean Family Medical Center in Washburn. Hedi is a member of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Professional Nursing Society. She and her husband, Kevin, farm and ranch near Garrison.

Steven Mattson, MD

Steven R. Mattson, M.D. is a board certified internist and pediatrician.  A graduate of the University of North Dakota, he received his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and the University of North Dakota Affiliated Hospitals. He has practiced in Minot since 1988. Mattson is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.

Sarah Mullin, MD

Dr. Mullin is board certified in Family Medicine. She provides general care for people of all ages for a broad range of health conditions. Her practice is located at Trinity Health South Ridge. Dr. Mullin earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency through the UND School of Medicine residency program in Minot. She practiced medicine for 12 years with the 5th Medical Group at Minot Air Force Base. Dr. Mullin is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Kendra Larsen, FNP-C

A board-certified nurse practitioner, Kendra Larsen, FNP-C, is a member of our primary care team at Trinity Health Velva Clinic. She’s dedicated to serving the health needs of people of all ages through annual health checks, treatment of common illnesses, and management of acute and chronic health conditions. Originally from Velva, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Advanced Nurse Practice from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She was a staff RN at the Velva Clinic before becoming its primary care provider. A member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Nursing Society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association, Kendra resides on a farm north of Velva with her husband Kyle. They have two children.

Evonne Hickok, FNP-C

Evonne Hickok, FNP-C, a nurse practitioner with over three decades of nursing experience, has joined Trinity Health Western Dakota in the specialty of Occupational Health and Family Medicine. Evonne will work with doctors and other clinic staff to diagnose and treat work-related illnesses and injuries, in addition to providing DOT physicals and other employment screenings.

A graduate of the former Trinity School of Nursing, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University in 1988. She had a long and varied career, practicing in hospital and clinic settings in Minot, Great Falls, MT, Dickinson and Williston. She was associated with Upper Missouri District Health Unit in Williston for 18 years before returning to school to complete her Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing from the University of Mary, Bismarck. A member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Evonne and her husband, Rick, have five children and several grandchildren.
