Sandra Storey, FNP-C, is a board certified family nurse practitioner and a member of Trinity’s team of providers at the Trinity Emergency/Trauma Center. The Walhalla native earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota. She practiced 25 years as an RN in association with Indian Health Service, Altru Health System and Trinity Hospital, gaining experience in emergency, medical-surgical, surgical and oncology nursing. Sandra returned to UND to complete her Master of Science Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing in 2014. She’s a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the North Dakota Nurse Practitioners Association and the Emergency Nurses Association. She lists quilting among her leisure time interests.
Emergency and Trauma
An emergency medicine physician receives training to care for patients with acute illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. While not providing long-term or continuing care, they diagnose a variety of illnesses and undertake various interventions to stabilize patients.
