A member of our Family Medicine team, Purwa Joshi, MD, is dedicated to serving the health needs of adults and adolescents, with an emphasis on women’s health, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries, managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and educating patients on self-care and lifestyle changes to prevent disease. A graduate of Ryazan State I.P. Pavlov Medical University in Russia, where she graduated with honors, Dr. Joshi interned at Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai, India, and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Northwest Campus, in Minot. Throughout her residency Dr. Joshi was active in providing care for underserved populations.
