An ophthalmologist at Trinity Regional Eyecare – Western Dakota, Dr. Braich provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for cataract, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. Originally from Toronto, he studied mathematics at the University of Waterloo in Ontario before earning his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and did a fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University. Throughout his medical education Dr. Braich performed with distinction, earning numerous awards. He’s also been a passionate volunteer, performing ophthalmic surgeries for charitable organizations in India and the developing world. A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Dr. Braich enjoys Canadian winter sports, basketball, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and spending time with his family.
