Trinity Health welcomes Michael J. Templer, MD, a pain specialist double board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. Dr. Templer completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship at Wayne State University in Michigan. He comes to Minot from Illinois, where he provided comprehensive pain management in association with Orthopedic Center of Southern Illinois. As medical director of the Trinity Pain Center at Trinity Health South Ridge, he provides the full range of non-surgical remedies, including injection therapies, nerve blocks and electrical stimulation.
Anesthesiology
Anesthesiology is a medical field concerned with the planning and administration of anesthetic agents for patients undergoing surgical or therapeutic procedures.
Pain Management
Pain Management focuses on helping patients deal with chronic pain or pain that persists months after the healing process has ended – generally three to six months or more. Trinity Health’s program employs a team of healthcare providers who work with patients to understand and treat their pain using a variety of strategies and interventions.
