Trinity Health is pleased to welcome Kathryn Obregon, MD, a board certified pediatrician with over 25 years of experience providing expert care to children of all ages.¬† Dr. Obregon comes to Minot from Bismarck, where she was a practicing pediatrician for 20 years and taught medical students at the University of North Dakota Medical School’s Southwest Campus,serving part of that time as Director of Pediatrics.¬† She also was a clinical preceptor for the University of Mary’s nurse practitioner program and the University of South Dakota’s Physician Assistant Program.¬†A graduate of the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Obregon completed her pediatric residency at Graduate Medical Education Inc. in East Lansing, MI.¬† Prior to moving to Bismarck she practiced in St. Cloud and Coon Rapids in Minnesota.¬† A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Obregon has five grown children and six grandchildren. Her favorite people call her ‚Äúnana.‚Äù She also has two cats. Other than spoiling her grandchildren, she is an avid reader, enjoys painting, crafting, and board and card games. She is looking forward to this new chapter of her life and getting to know Minot’s children and families.
Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The age limit of such patients ranges from birth to 18.
