This process will take some time. Until we have sufficient information and recommendations to consider, Trinity Health will not speculate on the impact this event may have on the project timeline. However, our commitment to the city and region is unwavering. We will evaluate the impact of the fire and take any actions necessary to ensure successful completion of the healthcare campus and medical district. Again, we are profoundly thankful no one was injured; the safety and well-being of our patients, community, staff, and project partners are our priority. We deeply appreciate the efforts by local fire, police, and ambulance services to keep people safe from harm during this event.

John Sheehan, MD

Dr. John Sheehan is a native of Rapid City, South Dakota. He graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, Vermillion, in 1978, and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Tulane Affiliated Hospitals, New Orleans, LA. Dr. Sheehan is board certified in his specialty by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the New Orleans Academy of Internal Medicine.
