A certified nurse midwife, Jayme Burman provides general obstetric and gynecological care to women throughout their lifespan. With clinical interests in both natural and medical approaches to care, she works collaboratively with physicians and other members of the Ob/Gyn team to offer compassionate, holistic care to empower women on their journey to motherhood. A Missouri native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Graceland University’s Iowa campus and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas School of Nursing, Kansas City, graduating with a post-master’s certificate in nurse midwifery. While at KU she served two years as a graduate teaching assistant, teaching up to 200 students per year. She has extensive nurse midwifery experience, practicing in mostly rural settings in Missouri and Iowa. A member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, she enjoys walking and spending time with her family and dog, Baby.
