A board-certified specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Dr. Justino is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of patients with diseases affecting the digestive system and related organs. His focus includes abdominal pain, colon cancer screening, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, nonsurgical treatment of hemorrhoids, GERD, ulcers, irritable bowel and atypical chest pain. A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, he completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, and its related hospitals. During his years at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Justino earned the Excellence in Service Award two years in a row. He also received a Maryland Patient Choice award in 2008 and 2009. He practiced in association with Gulf Coast Gastroenterology, Lake Jackson, TX, before joining Trinity Health. Dr. Justino and his wife JoAnna have a son and daughter.
