Shoulder Pain

Jerane Forsberg, PA-C

Jerane Forsberg, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant and a member of our team of providers at the Trinity Health Pain Center. A graduate of Minot State University’s nursing program, she worked as a critical care nurse at Trinity Hospital before earning a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota. Jerane’s PA experience of over 20 years includes primary care, cardiology, pain management and pre-admission testing. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the North Dakota Physician Assistant Association and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

 

Michael Templer, MD

Trinity Health welcomes Michael J. Templer, MD, a pain specialist double board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. Dr. Templer completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship at Wayne State University in Michigan. He comes to Minot from Illinois, where he provided comprehensive pain management in association with Orthopedic Center of Southern Illinois. As medical director of the Trinity Pain Center at Trinity Health South Ridge, he provides the full range of non-surgical remedies, including injection therapies, nerve blocks and electrical stimulation.

Katrina Peterson, PT, DPT

Katrina Peterson has been a physical therapist at Trinity since 2004. She grew up in Minot and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2004. Her career has focused mainly on pediatric therapy, neurological rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, and aquatic therapy. Katie and her husband have 2 busy children. In her free time, she enjoys camping and horseback riding.

Howard Reeve, MD

Howard Reeve, M.D. is board certified in Family Medicine, he obtained his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks. He completed his residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Minot, North Dakota.  Dr. Reeve has extensive experience and stays current in his field with annual continuing medical education in Occupational Medicine.  He is a certified examiner for DOT physicals.

Evonne Hickok, FNP-C

Evonne Hickok, FNP-C, a nurse practitioner with over three decades of nursing experience, has joined Trinity Health Western Dakota in the specialty of Occupational Health and Family Medicine. Evonne will work with doctors and other clinic staff to diagnose and treat work-related illnesses and injuries, in addition to providing DOT physicals and other employment screenings.

A graduate of the former Trinity School of Nursing, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University in 1988. She had a long and varied career, practicing in hospital and clinic settings in Minot, Great Falls, MT, Dickinson and Williston. She was associated with Upper Missouri District Health Unit in Williston for 18 years before returning to school to complete her Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing from the University of Mary, Bismarck. A member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Evonne and her husband, Rick, have five children and several grandchildren.

Nancy Gasmann, PT

Nancy Gasmann is a native North Dakotan graduating from University of North Dakota with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1984. She has worked for Trinity for 30 years with the focus of her practice for the last 20 years in pediatrics. Nancy initiated the Hippotherapy program with the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch in 1993. Other areas of career focus include birth to three years of age with the Minot Infant Development and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Nancy and her husband have 2 grown children. In her free time she enjoys walking with the dogs and riding horse.
