Cheryl D. Ulven, a Certified Physician Assistant and Registered Nurse at the New Town Community Clinic, is an affiliate of Trinity Health. Ulven provides comprehensive primary care for people of all ages (under the supervision of a physician), including complete physical examinations; diagnosis and treatment of common and acute illnesses; and the management of chronic health conditions. She also provides preventive health education and wellness checks for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. A graduate of the Trinity School of Nursing, she completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1995.
Family Medicine is a primary healthcare specialty concerned with preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of ailments in patients of all ages, incorporating training in Surgery, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics and Geriatric Medicine.
