Carla Pease, AGPCNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-geriatric nurse practitioner. A Garrison native, she earned a Certificate of Practical Nursing from Fort Berthold Community College in New Town and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Williston State College. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University, Salt Lake City in 2010, and three years later she received a Master of Science in advanced practice nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. Prior to receiving her nurse practitioner training she served as a registered nurse and clinical nursing instructor at Fort Berthold Community College in New Town. Her experience includes home health, long term care and clinic nursing.
Family Medicine is a primary healthcare specialty concerned with preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of ailments in patients of all ages, incorporating training in Surgery, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics and Geriatric Medicine. It is based on knowledge of the patient in the context of family history and the surrounding community.
