The importance of medical professionals in our country has been made even more prevalent by COVID-19. Trinity Health Foundation is addressing the projected shortage of 1,000,000 nurses in the United States. Our goal is to build a vibrant and talented pool of nurses who will exceed your expectations. To help attract quality candidates to the field of nursing, Trinity Health Foundation revised and expanded its Nursing Scholarship Program. In the past four years, we have awarded $145,000 in scholarships to 43 students.
Right now, thanks to a generous donation we have received, Trinity Health Foundation will match all gifts made to the Nursing Scholarship Endowment Fund up to $75,000!
We are asking you to partner with us by making a generous gift to the Nursing Scholarship Endowment Fund. Your gift will be doubled, and it will help change lives! The short-term impact of your gift is that it will help students receive the education they need. The long-term impact of your gift is the care that will be provided to the patients who will be served by these nurses on a daily basis.
You can help insure the future of quality healthcare with a gift to the Nursing Scholarship Fund. Please make a generous gift today to help us change and save lives in the region. If you’d like, you can make a gift in honor or memory of someone.
Plus, if you are a North Dakota Resident, the Nursing Scholarship Fund is a qualified endowment per the North Dakota Century Code. Therefore, North Dakota residents, businesses, and financial institutions may qualify for a 40% tax credit on the value of their gift to this endowment (minimum gift of $5,000 – at one time or aggregate in one year). The types of businesses and financial institutions this applies to include C corporations, S corporations, estates, limited liabilities and trusts. Businesses may carry forward any unused credit for up to three (3) taxable years (financial institutions excluded). Individual donors may carry forward any excess credit for three (3) years.
Thank you for partnering with us.
