Specialized care is vital when treating children\, and the American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is the standard for equipping you with those critical skills. This course empowers you to recognize\, prioritize\, and manage life-threatening pediatric cardiopulmonary conditions. \nThis PALS Provider Initial course is for first-time participants or those participants whose certification has expired.  \nCourse Overview & Key Benefits \nThe official AHA PALS course emphasizes a systematic\, hands-on approach to pediatric assessment\, effective respiratory management\, and high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation. DESCRIPTION:Is your car seat: \n\nRight for your child?\nProperly installed?\nIn safe condition?\nRecalled or expired?\n\nCar seat checks are hosted by the Minot Fire Department and the Minot Car Seat Coalition. The Coalition consists of First District Health Unit\, Trinity Health\, Minot Fire Department and other Community Partners. \nSeat Checks are by appointment only. To make an appointment\, call First District Health Unit at 701-837-5195. If leaving a message\, please give the following information: number of seats to be checked\, make and model of vehicle\, ages of child(ren)\, brand and model of car seat and preferred time of check on scheduled date. \n\nPlease allow 45 minutes per seat.\nAll car seat checks will take place at Minot Fire Station Number 1\, 2111 10th St. SW\, Minot. (Enter through the north garage doors.)\nIf you have a cough\, fever or shortness of breath\, or are not feeling well\, please call 701-837-5195\, leave a message with your name and callback number\, and arrangements will be made for a seat check on a later date.\n\nDonations gratefully accepted.
