Prepared Childbirth Class
Long before you ever touch a soft cheek or hold a tiny hand, your baby is depending on you.
Description: MAFB Prepared Childbirth, with emphasis on the LaMaze technique, is taught throughout the year. Each session provides extensive information regarding:
- Exercise and Breathing Techniques
- Labor / Delivery
- Anethesia & Analgesia
- C-Section
- Early Postpartum
- Newborn Care
- Newborn Feeding
Participants should pre-register early but attend classes during the last 6-8 weeks of pregnancy. Space is limited.
Location: Minot Air Force Base in the Airmen and Family Readiness Center, MAFB
Time: 7-9 p.m. The course consists of 4 class periods over 4 consecutive weeks.

Cost: Free to parents delivering their baby at the Trinity Hospital Family Birth Center.
Breastfeeding Basics
Description: The birth of a baby can present many challenges for women who will be breastfeeding their babies. Breastfeeding Basics provides useful information that will help with the establishment of this process. We encourage you to attend the class prior to delivery, but this program is also available to women who have recently delivered.

Location: Trinity Health Center Riverside Education Center.
Time:7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
