To help ensure patients understand their medical care and circumstances, we offer in person interpretation services to patients who do not speak English or who are deaf or hard of hearing. We also offer communications services for the vision impaired.
Trinity Hospital assists with providing language translation services for non-English speaking patients through Language Line, a 24-hour, toll-free telephone translation service allowing communication through virtually any language as well as through individual volunteer translators.
Volunteer translators are provided based upon their own availability. Translation services have been offered for the following languages: Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Philippine, and Spanish.
Trinity Hospital assists with providing Relay Services and Sign Language Interpreters. Trinity Hospital assists the visually impaired in the most effective manner available. This could be audiotape, read to, etc.
