(MINOT, ND)— Tyson Williams, DPM, a foot & ankle specialist with Trinity Health, will present an educational talk, “Current Bunion Treatments for All Ages,” Thursday, April 27, at 7 p.m. in the Trinity Health Community Conference Room at Town & Country Center.

The program, which is free and open to the public, is presented as part of Trinity’s “Healthy U” series of community education programs.

A bunion is a joint deformity that causes a bone prominence near the great toe or the little toe, according to Dr. Williams. “Bunions can be painful and can lead to arthritis,” he said. During his talk he’ll present the latest information about bunions and discuss various treatment options.

A Minot native, Dr. Williams received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He completed a general podiatry residency in Farmington Hills, MI, and a two-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery in Seattle, WA. A fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, he is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot & Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.

Reservations are not required but requested by calling Trinity’s Community Education Department at 857-5099. Refreshments will be provided. SPACE index.php
