Originally from South Dakota, Dr. Schaffner has delivered nearly 2,500 babies since arriving in Minot over a dozen years ago. She's fully trained in Ob/Gyn and committed to comprehensive health care of the female patient with a special interest in infertility and pregnancy.

Obstetrics is the surgical specialty dealing with the care of women and their children during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period. Midwifery is the non-surgical equivalent. Gynecology is the medical practice dealing with the female reproductive system.
