Dr. Wilson specializes in Internal Medicine, a primary care specialty dealing with the full range of adult illnesses, including preventive care, such as screenings and physical check-ups. He earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, where he graduated with honors. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ. In 2004 Dr. Wilson provided volunteer medical services to victims of Hurricane Ivan in the West Indies.
Internal medicine deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. An internist cares for hospitalized and ambulatory patients and may play a major role in teaching or research. They are especially skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes.
