Kevin J. Turneau, MD, a Minot native and former medical officer at Minot Air Force Base, has joined Trinity Health's team of diagnostic radiologists. Dr. Turneau earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University, Washington, D.C. He completed a surgery internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa., and then joined the Air Force. Dr. Turneau was stationed four years with Minot AFB's 5th Medical Group from 2004 to 2008, serving as flight surgeon with the 23rd Bomb Squadron and as Chief of Aerospace Medicine. His service also included two overseas deployments in conjunction with Operation Enduring Freedom, which earned him the Air Force Commendation Medal. After fulfilling his military service, he completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Wheaton Franciscan St. Joseph, Milwaukee, Wisc. Dr. Turneau is certified by the American Board of Radiology. In his spare time, he enjoys grilling and motorcycling.
Radiologists utilize an array of imaging technologies to diagnose or treat diseases. This includes ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
