Georges El Hoyek, MD
Dr. El Hoyek is a member of Trinity's hospitalist team and is fellowship trained in geriatric medicine, a field of practice that focuses on the care of older adults. A graduate of Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences in Beirut, he did a two-year Internal Medicine residency at St. Georges University Medical Center in Beirut and spent a year at the Regenstrief Institute in Indiana researching gero-informatics, the use of information systems to improve the care and safety of older patients. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of North Dakota's Center for Family Medicine in Minot, where he served as chief resident his senior year. After his residency he completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. He is board certified in Family Medicine with an added qualification in Geriatric Medicine. Dr. El Hoyek is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.
