A former computer systems and data processing analyst, Jaime M. Sheperd, MD, earned his Doctor in Medicine degree at the University of California at Los Angeles in 1993 and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis. He has practiced at hospitals in Indiana and Washington, utilizing his computer expertise to facilitate the digital revolution in healthcare. During his tenure at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA, he chaired the interdepartmental committee that oversaw implementation of a PACS system similar to one deployed at Trinity Health. Most recently he was a member of Virtual Radiologic Corporation, a network of radiologists that employs specialists from across the country via a digitally based imaging system. Dr. Sheperd is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Radiology

Radiologists utilize an array of imaging technologies to diagnose or treat diseases. This includes ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
