Sharon Wright NP

Cardiology

As a cardiac nurse practitioner, Sharon Wright, FNP-C, works closely with Trinity’s cardiology team, providing patient assessment, follow-up care and education to cardiovascular and peripheral vascular patients. A nursing graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Marian University, Fond du Lac, WI. Her experience includes extensive medical/surgical practice. She served as a cardiac unit charge nurse at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay. Sharon is certified in advanced cardiac, pediatric and basic life support and smoking cessation counseling.

Cardiology is a subspecialty of Internal Medicine concerned with diagnosing and treating disorders of the heart and blood vessels. Cardiology includes diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology
