Robotic surgery is coming to western North Dakota and will be offered to patients
beginning this summer. Trinity Health has become the first hospital in North Dakota
to acquire the new da Vinci Si Surgical System, the most advanced robotic surgical
technology on the market.
Designed for use across several surgical specialties,
the da Vinci combines the advantages of small incisions used in laparoscopic surgery
with high-definition, 3D optics and advanced robotic instrumentation that is more
dexterous than a human wrist.

Radiology & Imaging Technology
A complete range of imaging and diagnostic services is available to physicians to
help make accurate and speedy diagnosis of diseases and abnormalities. Accredited
by the College of American Pathology (CAP), the laboratory at Trinity Hospital
offers full service clinical and pathology procedures and conducts all standard tests.
X-ray and imaging capabilities include MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, digital
mammography and special radiology procedures.
Trinity Health offers complete diagnostic
x-ray services utilizing state-of -the-art equipment performed by qualified and experienced
technologists. Trinity Health offers digital imaging at all 5 of our Minot clinical sites,
as well as at Trinity Hospital.
Level II Trauma Center
Trinity Hospital is verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level II Trauma Center, the highest level of trauma
care available in North Dakota. Level II verification means Trinity meets all of the requirements necessary to provide
initial, definitive trauma care regardless of the severity of injury. Trinity’s Emergency/Trauma Center (ETC) provides
round-the-clock physician coverage, which is supported by highly trained nursing and other clinical staff.
Emergency Transport ETC Community Ambulance Service, Inc.
Community Ambulance Service, Inc. was founded on March 9, 1981, and has grown from a Basic Life Support (BLS) service in 1981,
to a fully Advanced Life Support (ALS) service in 1991. Responding to over 7000 calls annually, Community Ambulance Service,
Inc. serves as the primary ALS ambulance service to the city of Minot and nearly 2000 square miles surrounding Minot.
The work of the Trinity Heath is supported by NorthStar Criticair, the hospital's critical care helicopter. Established in 1992,
NorthStar provides hospital-to-hospital transfers and scene response within a 150-mile radius of Trinity Hospital for adult,
pediatric, high-risk neonate and high-risk labor/delivery patients.
