Family Medicine

Kristin Chaussee FNP-C A certified nurse practitioner, Kristin Chaussee, FNP-C, is experienced in family practice, women’s health, occupational health, urology, orthopedics and pain management. A University of Mary graduate with a master’s degree in nursing, she practiced at Mid Dakota Clinic’s Center for Women in Bismarck from 1998 to 2003, becoming director of the Center for Women and Teen Board from 2003 to 2006. Prior to joining Trinity she served as a nurse practitioner at Medcenter One’s Occupational Health Clinic.

Specialty: As a member of Trinity’s Convenient Care team, Kristin offers same-day appointments for patients with non-emergent medical conditions that aren’t serious enough for an emergency room visit but can’t wait for an appointment with their regular provider.

Family Medicine

Family Medicine is a primary healthcare specialty concerned with preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of ailments in patients of all ages, incorporating training in Surgery, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics and Geriatric Medicine. It is based on knowledge of the patient in the context of family history and the surrounding community.
