Founded in 1985, Trinity Home Health/Hospice is the premier home health agency in North Dakota, scoring well above national quality standards. The department’s longstanding commitment to quality is evident in the federal government’s online comparison of home health programs, Home Health Compare. Home Health Compare lets healthcare consumers make decisions about home healthcare by comparing the performance of home health agencies across the country using 11 quality indicators. Trinity’s home health program consistently scores above its state and national counterparts. “It’s another indication of the quality of work our staff produces,” Trinity Home Health/Hospice Director Liz Johnson states. “Our staff is extremely caring. Their goal is to always do what is best for the patient.” In addition, Trinity’s Home Health/Hospice department is consistently rated a “top performer” in VHA benchmark studies.
Hospice is a special form of care for dying patients and their families. Staffed by doctors, nurses, chaplains and other healthcare professionals, hospice offers medical, emotional and spiritual support and seeks to help patients live as fully as possible in their home environment.
